Coalescer
keyword:Coalescer
Classification:
- Description
-
A coalescer removes oil from wastewater by passing it through coalescing media. This causes small oil droplets in the wastewater to coalesce into larger droplets, increasing their size and buoyancy. This reduces the oil content in the wastewater without altering its properties.
Pre-coalescing uses large corrugated plates to significantly increase the contact and collision time of the oily wastewater, enhancing the coalescing effect.
Fine coalescing uses staggered coalescing media to cause irregular movement of the oily wastewater, increasing the probability of oil droplet collisions.
