Gas engine heat pump air conditioning (GEHP) uses a gas engine to drive the compressor, using the principle of a compression heat pump cycle to achieve cooling in summer and heating in winter. The difference between gas heat pump air conditioning and electric heat pump air conditioning is that electric heat pump air conditioning uses an electric motor to drive, while gas heat pump air conditioning uses a gas engine to drive. The indoor unit and other operations of GEHP are the same as electric ones, and there is no phenomenon of gas combustion indoors. However, due to the different power sources of the two types of heat pumps, gas heat pump air conditioning has many advantages over electric air conditioning.
